Taylor Made's Unbridled Opportunity
Established in 1985, Taylor Made's Unbridled Opportunity is set up to provide those interested individuals with an entry point into the Thoroughbred industry. They begin to learn the day-to-day basics of farm management and Thoroughbred care, as well as many other aspects of the Thoroughbred industry. The intern will be taught skills ranging from basic animal husbandry and herd health to sales preparation and the development of young horses. Each intern will be able to develop and hone his or her horsemanship skills during their tenure at Taylor Made. This will prove to be invaluable in their future endeavors in the horse trade. Taylor Made is one of the world's largest and most recognized Thoroughbred consignors and this gives interns exposure to everything from the $5,000 horse to the $9,000,000 horse. "Please note this is not a scholarship but a paid internship".

The Horse Farm Workers' Educational Assistance Fund
The Horse Farm Workers' Educational Assistance Fund was created in 1994 to address a need that was not being met by any other horsemen's group. The Fund's founders believe that giving educational and life skills assistance to dedicated farm employees who provide daily care for thoroughbreds makes more than humanitarian sense. It also makes practical sense by providing a meaningful employment incentive and by increasing on-the-job effectiveness and overall industry productivity.
